You are warmly invited to Listen to the Land, a nature-inspired yoga retreat at St Nectan’s Glen and Waterfall - an entrancing temperate rainforest on North Cornwall’s stunning Atlantic coast.

Sit in sacred silence by a thundering waterfall where the waters have carved stone for millennia, feeling centuries of stories speak through your cells.

Meet by our fire in Piscean moon energy and reconnect with feeling fully, wildly alive in an activated dream time.

Becoming still enough to hear the whispers of ancient trees and feel peace.

  • Waterfall Ceremony - exclusive after hours access to the Waterfall - immerse or simply contemplate this flow of natural energy

  • Gong & Sound Bath - explore the imagination in gentle journeying with sound, gongs and pure crystal singing bowl frequencies

  • Barefoot Meditation - ground yourself as the day awakens

  • Molten Chocolate & Non Alcohol Elixirs - activate your mood and senses with natural plant based medicine and tonics in the Crystal Club House

  • Yoga Nidra - journey into yogic sleep while listening to the whispers of the land

  • Full Moon in Pisces Fire Gazing - release and raise collective vibrations through song, chant and drumming

  • Constellation Snapshots & The Dreamtime - unlock ancestral wisdom and cellular memories in this fascinating practice connecting the self and nature

RETREAT SCHEDULE

  • Friday, September 5th

We gather at 2pm at St Nectan's Glen Car Park for our pilgrimage to the heart of the Glen.

Walk unburdened through ancient woodland as your luggage is transported separately.

Drift into a sensory awareness of the land around you - the dappled light filtering through the leaves, the textural crunch of the path, and the entrancing sound of the bubbling streams, the sound growing stronger as you near the sacred falls.

After settling in to our accommodations there’s complimentary tea and cake from The Tree of Life Cafe.

Our first day focuses on setting intentions and building community, starting with a Welcome Circle and gentle yoga practice.

As evening approaches, we embark on a silent walk to connect with nature, followed by a waterfall ceremony to honour the land and ourselves.

After dinner, the evening transitions into exploring the land at night time and we close with an elemental gong and sound bath to activate the dream time and promote good rest.

  • Saturday, September 6th offers a full immersion day beginning with an early morning ritual cup of molten chocolate and Blue Lotus. Circle the earth in barefoot meditation and descend to the waterfall to refresh and awaken the senses.

The day balances structured activities including yoga and breathwork with a period of self-guided exploration. Take time on your own, or join others for a cafe lunch and browse crystals and books in the stunning shop. As night falls, the group will gather for a Full Moon fire pit - reaping and releasing in the water energy of the Piscean moon. Sip plant-based elixirs from our Elemental Bar and join us in song, gong and drum and stories.

  • Sunday, September 7th

Awakening yoga and waterfall ritual is followed by a the fascinating work of Juliette in the dreamtime and family constellations where we will co-create a ceremony inspired by the land.

From 2pm our final day now extends into embracing St Nectan’s own World Goddess Day celebrations where all members of the public are welcome at this unique annual event.

For those wishing to stay for the World Goddess Day celebrations, we're happy to store your luggage securely while you explore. If you need to depart directly, we'll ensure you're reconnected with appropriate transport for your ongoing journey.

In Cornwall's ancient landscape lies St Nectan's Glen - a temperate rain forest rich in rare and intriguing flora and fauna.

At its heart a spectacular sixty foot waterfall plunges dramatically through the naturally formed circular hole in the rock, carved over millennia by the force of cascading water. This is St Nectan’s Kieve - derived from the old Celtic for ‘sacred basin’ or ‘holy bowl’.

Accept with an open heart our invitation to explore the elements in this enchanting natural environment to celebrate our selves, our connection to the natural world and Mother Earth. Feel the warmth of our friendship, easeful conversations and delicious, nourishing plant-based food.

Embrace mindful movement, yoga, sacred sound and connection to the DreamTime in a treasured natural environment where we will be opening up to dream work, intuition and compassion.

We will leave rested, replenished and inspired for times to come.

After receiving this wisdom we will honour our connection to this place in a simple ceremony that will be crafted and woven together.
