Our Story…

In 2023, Kate and Casey met after embarking on a life-changing pilgrimage to visit sacred sites and temples in Egypt, guided by their sound healing tutors, Tim Wheater and Cherub. They first exchanged words in the Great Pyramid in Giza, Egypt.

As the journey unfolded and amidst the ancient temples resonating with centuries of history, they discovered a shared passion for singing and sharing their passion for sound healing instruments of resonance.

This serendipitous meeting in a sacred land sparked not only a friendship but also a vision for the future.

This chance encounter in the heart of an ancient wonder blossomed into a partnership dedicated to spreading the transformative power of sound healing, with Crystal Tones® bowls at the centre of their practice.

About KATE

A certified sound healer, digital music creator and with advanced training in Gong Mastery, Kate plays gongs, bowl harp, crystal singing bowls and instruments of resonance to create a space for human connection, deep meditation and journeying with the imagination.

Her journey to discover sound for healing came during lockdown. After experimenting with field recordings made in the beautiful Stroud valleys a curiosity for creating digital music and audio postcards was inspired. Retraining in sound healing practices ran alongside a parallel interest in creating electronic music. As Whorl of Sound, Kate makes music infused with instruments of resonance, foraged chants and the elemental sounds of the natural world.
